Denis is currently working on

Research into British and British Imperial History of the 19th and 20th centuries, in particular a new and revised edition of his best selling book Empire: the British Imperial experience from 1765 to the present (due out in 2011)

The life and work of Alison Uttley. Manchester University Press has very recently published in paperback a 3rd edition of his authorised biography.

A paperback edition of the Uttley Diaries has just been published in the Spring of 2011.

He is currently revising his biography of George VI for publication early in 2012.
